Our Team & Events
The EDA has assembled a team of Techniuum experts who understand the specialized needs of technology companies and what it takes for these businesses to achieve commercial success. Team members are charged with supporting the broad range of resources provided under EDA’s technology business growth efforts.
The members of the EDA’s Techniuum Team include:
- Kathleen W. Coviello, Program Manager of Science and Technology, who is responsible for coordinating all technology resources and business development activities.
- Sharon di Stefano, Senior Finance Officer for Science and Technology, works closely with technology investment applicants, performing due diligence to assess investment opportunities, and helping to enhance relationships with technology and life sciences businesses, universities, the investment community and other service providers.
- Christine A. Roberts, Innovation Zone Coordinator for Camden, responsible for working with potential applicants, consultants, municipalities and partnering organizations. She also manages Innovation Zone Advisory Boards.
- Steven Royster Jr., Innovation Zone Coordinator of Newark, executing responsibilities similar to those carried out by Roberts.
- Donald Shatinsky, Manager of the EDA’s Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies in North Brunswick, where he supports the EDA’s technology business development and corporate technology transfer efforts. He also coordinates activities within the Greater New Brunswick Innovation Zone.
- Michael Wiley, Innovation Zone Project Officer, who manages the three technology neighborhoods in Camden, Greater New Brunswick and Newark that have been created to spur collaboration among the state’s public research universities, medical research facilities and technology and life sciences businesses.
